Presets in Photos Editing

If you use any method to use PXP in Photos, you have to have Presets, that collection of presets, always there. I rarely ever use any of those presets in PXP, let alone in Photos. In PXP you can turn that off under the View menu. Which I really like, as it gives more space for the other adjustment panels. But Photos always has those presets showing. There seems to be no way to get rid of that. I suppose this is the way Apple brings PXP into Photos, but am wondering if this can be changed.

Well, I see there is one way to get around the issue. I finally noticed that when you edit in PXP, there is a "Modify Original in Photos" option in the Edit menu. That does exactly what it says it will do. Shows up immediately in Photos. And one can Restore to Original in Photos if unhappy. Neat!
