Images exported w Generic Gray Color Profile can't be exported by Apple Preview

Export any type of image from PPro 3.5.3 (MacOS 14.2.1) to a PNG or TIFF with Color Profile set to either Generic Gray option. Open the exported image in Apple Preview and use its File | Export menu command to export the image as anything _other than_ PDF (e.g.: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, etc.). The file dialog box indicates the file size is "Zero KB" and displays an error message "The document could not be exported ...". But if the image is exported from Preview as PDF, it exports successfully. I don't know if this issue is caused by PPro or Preview.

After installing MacOS 14.4 today, this issue finally appears to have been fixed.
