Stoke Inside & Outside of text in Pixelmator Pro

Did they remove this in a recent update? The option is grayed out unless I convert it into shape or pixels. This is a necessary feature for me, I create text for my video thumbnails and use this every single time!

Yeah, that appears to be an oversight - (AKA "Bug")

I created RED CommitMono text. Then, went to styles and used the fill style (GOLD) and it put it in INSIDE the original RED letter, Then I added two strokes of BLUE and RED and it put it OUTSIDE the original RED - AND both those two strokes were not modifiable/editable. Yep, that is a terrible "Bug".

Seems a bug to me, because using the Effect: Image Fill won´t allow any stroke of certain color at all be it editable text or converted into shape.

Should have brought this up previously. It's been a bug ever since they changed the way you set a stroke to be center, outside or inside of an object.

Another bug I've been crashing into repeatedly is adding a spot color to selected text within a text block will also result in adding a color fill to a completely unrelated shape. If I notice it at the time, a single cmd-Z will undo the bad fill on the shape. But it's so nonsensical, it's easy to miss.

I sure hope so this really bothers me EVERY TIME I USE PIXELMATOR PRO

This bug persists, even in the newest version - A terrible bug - I think that text and shapes styles should behave the same. "terrible bug" is my search term.

Agreed! This still bothers me every time I use Pixelmator Pro. Unacceptable.

If you still have access to text made in an older version you can drag it into Pixelmator Pro and manipulate the styles as before (assuming you already had done it in an earlier version) That work around worked last time I tried, which was a while ago.

This bug was present before the current v 3.5 - I don't know about older text. The oldest PixPro I have is v3.3.8 which also fails, but differently. The middle text:
