Hi there,
when adding a photo to a frame/mask in a template (for generating a collage) Pixelmator is using a fixed position of the photo, and I'm not able to move or resize the photo. I would like to do that for highlightig a specific detail in the scene. Sometimes it's just an ugly cut i.e. at the top of the photo and I would like to move the photo downwards, i.e. for showing the complete head of the person.
How would I do that in Pixelmator?
Thanks for helping!
Jonathan

I don't use Pixelmator, but in case you are interested in the same for Pixelmator Pro.
I've written an automatic collage generator in Applescript for Pixelmator Pro.

- Use the "Arrange" tool to select and move the photo within the frame (if allowed by the template).
- Hold "Shift" while dragging for precise movement or resizing.
- Consider editing the photo outside the frame for more precise control over positioning.

If you're still unable to move or resize the photo, there might be limitations with the specific template. In that case, you can search for a more editable template or try contacting the template creator.
