I’m a longtime Pixelmator user, looking forward to Photomator.

The product description says that the AI has been “trained on 20 million pro photos.”

Is all AI and/or machine learning processing of my photos, done strictly on my computer? Are my photos uploaded, shared, or processed online or on servers somewhere?

Given the explosion of generative AI and the anxiety surrounding it, any app or service that invokes “enhanced by AI” now needs to assure users that their personal photos or content are still private. I don't see it mentioned in the privacy policy, so maybe safe to assume it's not a concern. But wanted to ask.

Thanks very much,
B

Hi there! Yes, all Photomator tools, including ML-powered ones, only work locally on your device.
Aside from analytics provided by App Store Connect and RevenueCat as mentioned in our Privacy Policy, no other data is collected.
