We have these selective clarity sliders based on shadows, mid tones and highlights which is great, but I would love to apply them by color. For example, If I have a set of portraits and I want to decrease clarity a bit on the skin tones, I would apply it to orange in a batch. I don't need it to be perfect for the whole skin, just for the perfectly lit areas in that color range.
I know clarity doesn't give you the same perfectly smooth skin that doesn't look like plastic, as frequency separation in an app like photoshop or affinity photo but it would be a good preview and the best thing is that it could be applied in a batch, especially if you apply just a little negative clarity.
Right now what I do is do a selection with the color range mask tool and then apply it to mid tones, but I cannot create a batch with masks. That would be a second request, specially with the color range masking tool. But I digress, I think my first request would be perhaps easier to do.
