Hey guys,
I noticed that something is wrong with the images at 100% size. Maybe I don't understand something, but my screen is 2560 * 1600 pixels and the image below is 100% full, yet smaller than the screen.
How can this be?
Thank you guys, have a nice day!
Imre
Image size - is it correct?

Hey Imre! I believe you're working with a MacBook Air with a Retina display? Retina displays use twice the pixel density of regular non-Retina displays, so I believe that could be what's causing the size discrepancy here. There's no official Apple documentation explaining this but from what I understand, if you have your display scaling set to "Default to Display" (or "Looks like 1440x900") it doesn't actually render at 2560x1600 pixels but 2880x1800 pixels instead. So, in this case, to match your screen and the image 1:1, you can do one of two things:
a) Change the image size to 2880x1800 pixels (a Retina size of the default 1440x900 resolution)
b) Change the display scaling to "Looks like 1280x800" in System Preferences which, in actuality, renders at 2560x1600 when doubled for a Retina display.
Hope that helps!
