Filesize inconsistencies and potential bug in export?

Hi,

I posted this before as a reply to a thread but it seems to have disappeared, so re-adding.

I'm seeing a couple of strange oddities:

1. The quality slider when you expert HDR HEIF on iOS doesn't affect filesize regardless of where you set it. Change the output format to HDR AVIF or something else and it works fine. It also works fine on Mac.

2. if I export the same source file using the same quality setting and the same output format on Mac and iOS; the Mac filesizes are much bigger but the iOS file sizes are much smaller. I'd expect them to be the same output filesize. (For example, one photo export being 14mb from iOS and 43mb from Mac)

I suggest you email them a bug report. This is not the best place here. But I am sure they will apppreciate your reporting. There is a Report Issue option in the app.

I'm having the same issue in addition to exported images are often blank. I've contacted support numerous times and have not heard back.
