Hi folks my iPad Pro died and I had to purchase another I could not remember my apple password for the App Store so I changed it. Now I cannot redeem pixelmator after reinstalling it, it will not recognise the new Apple ID that I had purchased it.
Any help would be appreciated.

You should have reset the password of the old Apple ID, not created a new one. All you purchase history is attached to your Apple ID, not only Pixelmator but also any app, movie, music, etc. If you create a new Apple ID you start from Scratch. Apple has a way to reset the password on your Apple ID, to do it go to appleid.apple.com, choose Sign-In and then Forgotten your Password, and take it from there. The best would be for you to do that and then factory reset again that iPad to use your original Apple ID. Otherwise I doubt you will have any lock and if you did I would be worried about Apple's thief protection.
