Hello. There is no way (to my knowledge) to switch from 8-bit to 16-bit from within the Photos plug-in: there is no shortcut, and the Pixelmator toolbar where it is located doesn't appear... Can you think of something?
Also, adding a "default" setting in the program preferences would be nice.
