24 inch iMac 2023 3M chip using Pixelmator Pro 3.5.6 (Flare) using Sidecar to put Pixelmator on iPad Pro (2023) running 17.3.1 connected by a USB C directly to iMac. Due to planned obsolescence we had to do major upgrade of iMac, iPad Pro, and switch to Pixelmator Pro using Sidecar. Workflow learning curve is steep but right now I have one problem.
Apple Pencil will not reliably select the scroll bar handle on the layers sidebar. I pray, I tap, I drag, press and hold etc. It seems to be random and really wants to extend or shrink the workspace instead. When the bar is live (dark grey) the pencil is not over it. As soon as the pencil tip approaches the grey handle of the scroll bar gets lighter like it's no longer an option.
Updated all software, restarted everything...not getting anywhere. Is there something I need to do in Sidebar?
