Pixelmator Pro's documentation states: Denoise an image. You can reduce noise in a single layer or, using a color adjustments layer, multiple layers in a composition.
However, Denoise has no effect when enabled on a Color Adjustment Label. Consequently, there is no ability to selectively apply the effect or its intensity via a mask on the Color Adjustment Layer.
This is especially limiting because Denoise is a destructive adjustment.
