More Control over ICC softproofing

What features would you like to see in Pixelmator Pro?

In other photo editing software, Softproofing comes with a few settings, that are needed to accurately match a manufacturer's color profiles. The most important ones are Rendering Intent and Black Point Compensation. In addition to those, Photoshop also offers a few more settings, for example "Simulate Paper Color".

This article, for example, goes through what is needed for a useful soft-proofing workflow in a photo editor:

Pixelmator Pro does support soft-proofing, but you can only choose an ICC color profile, without any further control about what is displayed.
I did some tests with the soft-proofing feature in Pixelmator Pro and compared the displayed image with the same image opened in the MacOS built-in ColorSync Utility, and it seems like Pixelmator Pro just uses the "automatic" setting for Rendering Intent, which is not what is needed most of the time.

Given that even in Apple's built-in ColorSync Utility the mentioned Rendering Intent and Black Point Compensation options are available, and Pixelmator is built on the OS-internal image processing tools, it should be possible to use these settings in Pixelmator as well!

So my feature Request is: Please add (at least!) the Rendering Intent and Black Point Compensation Settings to the Softproofing-Feature within Pixelmator Pro.

Thanks!
