Let's do pictures. I want to end up with a constant tapered stroke ending in a sharp point (stroke created in a different app):

This is experimenting with settings. Not quite there:
This is what I get if I insist on a sharp tapered end:
Only half the line gets stroked. I can only guess at why, but maybe a clue is the thumbnail. The point of max pressure is in the middle, and if I force it to be at the end, Pixelmator Pro subtracts half of the stroke instead of extending it? Like I said, it's a guess.
Does anyone have any ideas, please? Thanks!
