Photomator for MacOS Pricing

What is the difference in features/benefits between the subscription pricing and the Lifetime Price of the MacOS version of Photomator? Having just downloaded the MacOS version I am asked to either buy or subscribe. I want to make sure I make the right purchase model based on my needs as I am currently a user of Photomator for IOS and a Pixelmator Pro user for MacOS. I can't seem to find anything on the website that gives me a clear understanding of the pros and cons of both purchasing models.

I have Pixelmator Pro, so I went with the 30% discount on the the Lifetime for Photomator. I avoid software subscriptions whenever possible.

They are the same pros and cons as with any app that offers both pricing models. Lifetime model is you pay once a much higher price, and forget about it, it's yours to keep with the coming updates. Subscription is just that, pay a lower monthly or yearly subscription. You stop paying, you stop using it.
