Can't import .adjustments file, why?

I've been editing some photos in Pixelmator Photo and I created a nice preset that I want to use on my computer, which has Pixelmator Pro. I exported the adjustment preset, and it saved as a .adjustments file. I emailed the file to myself, opened Pixelmator Pro on my iMac, went to the adjustments tab, and tried to import the .adjustments file. However, the file is greyed out and I'm unable to import it. What's going on?
