Wrong photo opens

When selecting a photo to edit, sometimes it will open and then get replaced by another photo. The two file names are not the same, but the original file number still shows at the top. Any idea why?

I don't know if this might be related to an issue I've noted in y Crop module bug thread, if you're using V2.
After more use of V2, I've found that the Filmstrip is quite unreliable. It can jump about and select different images, depending on what process you're come from, so you can end up opening an unexpected image.
Regards
Andy.

Thanks, Andy,
I’ll look at what the film strip is showing. I’ve been accessing the photos via the traditional gallery and, as said, the file name stays correct but the image is not.

Hey David! Thanks for letting us know about this. If you can reproduce the issue consistently, would you be able to make a screen recording of it and share it with us at support@pixelmator.com? With some concrete repro steps, I'm sure we'll find a way to fix this!

Thanks. I’ll try to give that a go.
