Color fill not working.

New to Pixelmator Pro. When trying to add a new shape, or color fill a shape, instead of just filling the shape, the entire canvas area fills with the selected color. I can’t seem to find any setting that may be the issue. Thanks in advance for your help.

No problem here so far. Do you have accidentally select more than just the shape?

And just with that single shape selected it color-fills the entire Layer´s list?

Correct. I was creating a gift card with several layers including a photo and text.
When I tried to add a blue color to a star shape, the complete layer flooded with the
blue color covering all other layers. I tried several other canvases but the results were the same.

Hey everyone! Thanks for letting us know about the issue — it's actually an unfortunate regression in version 2.3.1 of Pixelmator Pro. We'll be shipping an update (v2.3.3) that fixes it shortly. Apologies for the trouble, in the meantime!
