I understand this request will most likely not be implemented, but I wanted to share this idea anyway!
So there is this great little drawing web app:

Hit "2" key to select a Brush tool and make some strokes. You will notice it uses a very interesting (opinionated) algorythm to define a stroke width and smoothness, depending on your movement speed. The result is great-looking calligraphic-like lines.

I use Pixelmator Pro for illustrations, so in my perfect world it would include tools like this

Thanks for the suggestion. The brush size by speed setting is available in Pixelmator Pro as such (as you probably know) but I agree that there's an interesting fluidity when using this freehand algorithm. If we ever consider a new painting engine, perhaps it's something we can look into.
