Hey Nucleardirk,

You cannot import more than one PDF page at this moment. Only the first one.

Hope you get this handled soon. Keep fingers cross and thx for the feedback.

Year later and looks like you still can't open more than just the first page of a PDF with this software... ummm yea.

I would like this feature too

As a workaround, I've found that you can show thumbnails in Preview (View > Thumbnails), then drag a thumbnail to Pixelmator in the Dock in order to open it. You can only do one page at a time, but you can at least access pages beyond the first page this way.

I tried this on Pixelmator on a Mac, not iOS, just to be clear.

Hope this helps!

Well, that's the very thing that still keeps me frustrated about this tool. I bought Pixelmator Pro in order to be able to work with some of my documents remotely when I'm not in the office, but most of them are contracts that more than one page long as usual. And there's nothing to do here because it's 2018 and iOS application still imports the very first document page only. Now I switched to this tool https://edit-pdf.pdffiller.com/ it has a mobile app as well that allows to work fill and edit pdf's from every page, not just the first one. But I'll keep waiting for any updates here

I too would love this. One of the features from Photoshop that I used. Gonna have to back to Windows and load the PDF in over there to get at this. :(

I have another workaround in Mac. In macOS preview multipage PDF's have thumbnails on the left. Its possible to drag single page to the desktop, and automatically new pdf would be created - with that page only. You can do the same step with every other pages.

Then, obviously, its possible to open that files in Pixelmator.

Yep, that's a good solution and you can even drag individual pages directly from Preview onto the Pixelmator icon in the Dock to open those pages in the app. :ok_hand:

As you edited page in Pixelmator, export it as PDF file and then do same - open your main document with Preview and then just drag your edited pdf from desktop to opened document in Preview and save it as new document. I was happy with it!

This is utter madness that Pixelmator Pro doesn't do this, it shouldn't even be classed as a "feature". I'm not expecting the program to be able to actually make multiple-page pdf documents, because it's an image editor and hence that isn't what it's supposed to do.

But, it should be able to open a chosen page from a PDF document, as far as I'm aware this isn't complicated programming. It's a shame, because I'm currently trialing the software, and something missing like this is setting off alarm bells.

I was just looking for this feature today. Pixelmator Pro team, please add the ability to import and edit multiple pages of a PDF. Thank you!

It can't even open layers in PDF files it seems...

Glad to find an answer so I can stop trying to figure this out. I can't believe people have been asking for this since 2015!

Here is a workaround that involves the Preview APP.

First, open the PDF with the Preview then open Pixelmator Pro and create a new file. Find the page you want to import into Pixelmator Pro and drag it to the new canvas you just created in Pixelmator Pro.
