I cannot decide the transparency of a text

Hi to everyone. I cannot find the way to the decide the "transparency" of my "watermark", of my text.
Someone can help me?

Hi!

There are two ways you can do this.

1) By changing the transparency of the text directly.
* Activate the type tool and select the text.
* Change the color of the text by clicking on the color box under font.
* In the color picker that pops up you can choose a color (or leave it like it is) and change the opacity.

2) By changing the transparency of type layer.
* Activate the Style tool and select the type layer you want to change from the layers section.
* With the Type tool change the Opacity slider to adjust the transparency of the layer and thus the text.
