How do I combine shapes?

Hi uncle808us.
I'm not sure if you can do this directly. I'd cut and paste each object onto one layer which will create a single shape with multiple paths. There's a bit of a knack to it if I recall. There may be easier ways of doing this, but here's what I would do in Classic Pixelmator.
Let's say you want all the bits to be on layer 'Shape':
1. Click on Shape 2 in the layers palette.
2. ⌘x to cut.
3. Click on Shape in the layers pallette.
4. Double-click on the highlighted shape itself on the canvas.
5. ⌘v to paste.
Repeat 1 to 5 for each shape you want to add (step 4 isn't needed to add the first object to the layer but is needed for every object after that).
Hope this helps (and that I've got the steps right).
- Stef.
