Can I move multiple shapes away from each other equal distances simultaneously?

So I have 6 circles and they are in a line. They are all flushed, touching each other's sides.

I think - I want all of them to now be separated at equal distances across the canvas.

My fix was to make a grid of lines and lower the opacity and eyeball it; which is easier for me than trying to figure out the, I'm sure elementary level, math involved in the x&y coordinates. I just sometimes can't be bothered with numbers. How silly.

Anyway. You all have my question. Do you all have my answer?

Move the first (left) circle horizontally in it´s place - same with the last (right) circle - select all and call Arrange tool and hit either: "Evenly distribute your selected objects according to their right/left edges".
