How to edit previously applied effects and marquees

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to view effects and marquees that I have applied to my project in pixelmator on mac. Can you please help?

I’ve added several effects and elliptical and rectangular marquees to a photo and I want to be able to go back and edit the effects that I applied and marquees that I used. Currently, I can’t see what effects or marquee tools I used after I start working with other effects or marquees.

How can I see and edit all effects and marquees that I applied on a project?
