That's really cool. I really love the way you guys add up great features, gradually. Being patient eventually pays off.

This one's going to go out without a public beta. And yeah, we hope everyone's going to be pleased with it!
Yep, it's a little crazy to look back at Pixelmator Pro 1.0 and see how much has changed and improved! It's also a little crazy to think about just how much more we'd like to add and improve.

That’s so cool thanks for bringing updates out so regularly. I hope that at some point you can transfer it easily to the iPad...2020-06-17 08:41:36

Congratulation. Do you have an estimated date? I'm literally in the middle of a project in which I need this text option. I did not realize Pixelmator could not perform this function until about 3 hours ago. Imagine my surprise.

Early to mid-July is what we're aiming for — for now, you can achieve the same effect manually by turning your text layer into shape and moving each letter into position. Obviously not ideal but definitely doable.

Andrius, I hope one of the updates is “perspective crop” where the photo is not perfectly squared but by attaching the 4 points OS crop tool I repent to the corners of the photo renders it square. I do have a workaround that takes time. Thanks for the updates

Ahhh! It’s finally coming!
I don’t need it often, but when I do have to curve text, it’s so time consuming to manually do it (and then do it all over again once I realize there’s a spelling mistake)!
Circular paths would have been enough, but any drawing path‽ That’s amazing to hear! Can’t wait to try it.

Thx great news.
Question : is there a simple way to « unselect » things instead of coming back to the selection tool each time ? Thank you

We'll consider this.
Thank you.
Hopefully the wait won't be too long!2020-06-19 16:18:50 Ahhh! It’s finally coming!

By unselect, do you mean clear a selection made with one of the selection tools or hide those white layer handles (the little squares) that indicate a layer is selected, which appear when using the Arrange tool (and certain other tools). If it's the first situation, you'd need to press the Command-D keyboard shortcut. If it's the second, this isn't currently possible but we plan to add the functionality and you should be able to press the Escape key in the future to deselect layers and hide their selection handles.
