The Pixelmator Retouch Extension for Photos lets you use a full set of powerful Pixelmator retouching tools inside the Photos app. Before you use the tools for the first time, you’ll need to enable the Extension. Watch this tutorial to learn how.
Does this work in Photos on OS X Yosemite?
I don’t see any extensions there.
Dave, the editing extensions feature was introduced to Photos with OS X El Capitan, so they won’t be available in OS X Yosemite. Of course, if you upgrade to OS X El Capitan, they will then appear in the Extensions preferences menu.
Does this also work with “trial version” on El Capitan? However, I don’t see this extension on my photo edit.
What happens if I want the extension once I’ve opened the app (pixelmator)? I cannot get it?
sorry I have the lastest IOS but canot get the retouch extension or any other for that matter. Can you explain how to get it ?
Also, where I found that Photos you talk in the tutorial?
Just downloaded a trial copy of Pixelmator. I am running MacOS 10.12.1. When I try to enable Pixelmator as extension in Photo, Pixelmator does not show up under more in the extensions menu. I have closed and restarted both Photos and Pixelmator and still it doesn’t show up. What do I need to do?
Hello, So I have osx Yosemite 10.10.5 and of course I cant use the retouch extension. But can have those editing capabilities in the app itself ? I want to edit brightness, and enhance, colors ect with a adjustable circle.
Does iOS Pixelmator has the photo retouch extension? Thank you!
