Repair tool
The Repair tool in Photomator lets you nondestructively touch up everything from the tiniest scratches and specs of dust, to eliminating entire objects from an image.
All you need to do is select the tool, pick a brush size and paint over the area you want to repair. As you paint, the Repair tool automatically takes pattern samples from the surrounding image areas and combines them in a way that matches the texture, colors, and lighting of the area being repaired. After the repair is done, it’s as if the unwanted objects weren’t even there to begin with.
To remove an object from a photo using the Repair tool:
- Choose the Repair tool by doing one of the following:
- Tap
in the toolbar at the top of the screen. - Press on your keyboard.
- Tap
- Drag the Brush Size slider to adjust the size of the Repair tool brush.
Paint over the object in your image you’d like to remove.
To reset all repairs, tap Reset below.
