I understand Capture One and DaVinci Resolve have the ability to do this. I have attached a screenshot from an app called Curves that allows you to do this. It’s not nearly as full-featured as Photomator but it allows me to get a wonderful look by slightly desaturating shadows and highlights.

I would love to request the ability to control the saturation of colors based on the luminance. This would not only allow us to mimic film looks more accurately but would also heavily set Photomator apart from Lightroom and other general photo editors.

Darkroom has color grading scopes that achieve a similar effect. This could be a good way too as long as we could adjust the split for each scope.

Okay I did notice that Photomator has scopes which is a great start for this. It would be fantastic if you could adjust the split for the scopes so that I could dip the saturation at the very bottom range of the lightness.
