Hello everyone. I'm having same issue where Photomator forgets the folder I imported with all my photos... This folder (317.8GB) is located in a SSD hard drive. When I drop the folder in Photomator or add it by selecting "import", it does nothing (the only thing I see is the icon jumping in the dock). Why is this happening? Please help!

p.s. if I restart my computer (Mac mini M1 running Sequoia 15.0) and I import the folder, I can see it again.

This, very unfortunately, is a macOS 15.0 issue with bookmarks. :disappointed_relieved: A bookmark is kind of like a token that we need to save to be able to have access to files and folders between app launches. When the app is relaunched, we resolve those bookmarks to access the imported files and folders again. However, on macOS 15.0, bookmarks often fail to resolve due to an unknown system issue. The good news is we've reported it to Apple and it looks to have been fixed in 15.1, which is what I'm running – I saw this quite a lot in 15.0 but I don't think I've had it happen once in 15.1.

P.S. 15.1 is still in beta, so you'll need to wait for it to be publicly released or, if this is very disruptive to your workflow, you could try running the beta version for now. Obviously, be aware that there may be other annoying issues in the beta (although 15.1 has looked pretty solid for me).

All good, Andrius... it's not the end of the world. Thank you very much for the feedback! I noticed that restarting the computer helps so I'll do that again if it happens again. Thank you!

I also have the problem that the link between Photomator and my external SSD has disappeared. Unfortunately I have some 4,000 image files to edit from a very recent trip - do you have any idea when Apple will release macOS 15.1 to fix the issue? I am not enrolled in their Beta Programme and would prefer to avoid doing so.

Judging from past releases, probably in another month or so. Maybe a little sooner, but seeing as 15.1 also includes Apple Intelligence features, my gut feeling is that's unlikely. For now, to fix imports to work again, restarting should work but then the problem may reappear and you'll have to re-add those folders to Photomator. Apologies for the inconvenience, I know this is really annoying. :pensive:
