Can't get two pen stroke lines aligned

I can't get the two pen strokes aligned. They both are simple lines point-to-point straight drawn with the Pen tool, and then rotated -15 degree (345 degrees). But they are not on top of each other and obviously have different angles. I need to add that they are drawn in two different pxd documents. I drew the blue grid in one document, and then copied the black letter from another. I made both documents and both are new.

What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?
