I have a question let's say I have a Photo where I want to colour grade the skin of the subject and the background seperately, like seperate colour grading for both the areas. So what is the best way to do this? Use a layer with Mask and then Paint on it doing invert mask ?

Or is there any other better way to do this ? If you guys can suggest?

Thanks in Advance !

I hate to admit I know nothing of color grading skin or the background of photos.
What does it mean to color grade skin, for example?
What is color grading's purpose?

It means making enhancements to your skin texture, colour, appearance.
