The only way to correct the problem, is to click Cancel and keep starting over until the dropdown box appears in the middle. It then works properly and you can select a file format:

Using Pixelmator Pro 3.6.4 (Archipelago) and I often encounter an error when trying to export a file. When the file format dropdown box appears on the left, the file format cannot be changed:
The only way to correct the problem, is to click Cancel and keep starting over until the dropdown box appears in the middle. It then works properly and you can select a file format:
