Patching Tool

Hello. I was just curious if having a true Patching Tool was on the horizon. The Repair Tool many times just doesn't generate corrections to skin texture properly, resulting in distorted or pixelated looking skin. While I appreciate the Repair Tool's simplicity, having a Patching Tool to augment it like PS or Affinity do would cut down my workflow significantly, or just refining it using Machine Learning to do a better job fixing skin would help. Hope this is a feature that is under consideration and thanks.

Have you tried the clone tool? It’s pretty good at patching skin blemishes.

Yes I have, but thanks for that idea. Clone has some considerable downsides that other photo editors don't have while using a patch tool, like blindly changing the brightness or colors of the target area whereas a patch tool is more focused on texture while doing minor color corrections for better blending with the surrounding pixels.
