Align photos and merge layers for panoramas and long exposure effects

Hi, I'm considering purchasing a Pixelmator Pro license, but without a trial I can't figure out if there is the possibility with this software to:

* Open multiple pictures as layers;
* Align the layers (for instance if I'm doing a panorama stitching, or if I shot multiple photos of the same subject but I want to make sure that all the layers are perfectly on top of each other);
* Merge the layers (for instance by doing the mean or the median, which are really useful to simulate long exposure effect.
