Please add support for JPEG XL photos and export to this format. Apple started to fully support this format and so did Adobe products. You can easily replace JPEG 2000. JPEG XL has the future.

Pixelmator Pro can read JPEG XL but it surely has to support exporting to JPEG XL as well. libjxl since version 1.10 has improved significantly on both encoding and decoding. Besides, Pixelmator Pro may consider jpegli from libjxl, a JPEG encoder better than mozjpeg.

Another request for JPEG XL export support! Pixelmator Pro seems to handle HDR and high pixel depth images better than just about anyone. Would be great to have some fine-grained control over JPEG XL export of those images!

I'd be interested in support for JPEG XL as well. Please consider adding the option to open/export images to JPEG XL.
