My computer is too old for the current version of PMP on the app store. If my friend already has PMP, Will the app store allow him to buy it again using my Apple credentials? If not, how do I buy the classic version of PMP? I'd really like to take advantage of the Black Friday deal that's going on right now. Please let me know.

"Pixelmator Classic" (not Pixelmator Pro Classic) is no longer available in the app store. The latest release that WAS Pixelmator Classic was 3.9.11. The latest version of PMP (Pixelmator Pro) is 3.4.3. Where are you getting your version 2.2?
I don't think your friend can buy it on your computer with his credentials. It is not transferable from his Mac to yours either. BTW, the owners of AppStore apps do not have to buy the software again; all thats necessary is to move the app to the trash and re-download it, but if it's not in the AppStore any longer ...
