I'm exporting a pretty large PDF from Pixelmator Pro. 7200 x 10,800 (300dpi, 24 x 36in). It's taking absolutely ages. Looking at Activity Monitor, it is evident that Pixelmator Pro only uses a single CPU core for this task. It would be nice to have multithreaded PDF export, but I admittedly don't know anything about the format or whether it's feasible. All that I know is that it's slow and that it would be nice if this somehow could be optimized better.
We have some important news to share: the Pixelmator Team plans to join Apple. If you need product support please contact us here.
