Photomator Album Behavior

I'm using the free version of Photomator on my Mac Mini and iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).

The Photomator setting on all devices is to Create Photomator album in Photos. I can see that a Photomator album was created in Apple Photos on all devices and is in my iCloud.com account. I have edited and saved the edited photos using Photomator on all devices.

However, in the Photomator app on all devices, the Photomator album behavior is inconsistent. Sometimes it is there and sometimes it is missing. There are times when the Photomator album is visible in Photomator and then is gone after I close and reopen the Photomator app on the same device.

Any insight regarding this behavior would be welcome.
