Feature Request: Allow shapes in Color Adjustments layer masks, or add radial and graduated filters non-destructively

It would be really nice to be able to apply Color Adjustments or Effects through graduated and radial filters in a way that the shapes, sizes, gradients and positions of the filters could be easily changed non-destructively at any time.

Alternatively, this could be solved by allowing the usage of shapes as masks for Color Adjustments and Effects layers. Currently, the only way I am aware of achieving this kind of result is by duplicating the original image layer and creating a clipping mask with the desired shape, which is not ideal.
