Showing masks

Hi, I guess this is a stupid question and I just missed the obvious but I can’t figure this out:

After creating a mask the red overlay disappears when I release the mouse button until I use the mask tool (brushing in this case) again.

Is there a way to show the masks, the red overlays even when not using the tools?

Try using show mask overlay ("View - Overlays - Mask overlay")

Is possible view mask overlay on ipad? There is no menu view

Hitting O on Magic Keyboard Does not work… tried now.
