Why are the boundaries of my selection box *MOVING* when I adjust the edges of it?

Basically after using rectangle selection box, then attempting to adjust width/height of the boundaries, the entire SELECTION BOX is moving around -- notice its not moving the contents - its just screwing with the bounds of the box.

I´m not able to recreate this odd behaviour. The "handles/indicators" for vertically and horizontally adjustments should appear in the middle of the corner handles - which they always do here.

Unfortunately, since recording that video I haven't been able to repro it, either even with the same PXD file! sigh.

Well I find this a good sign. I really tried everything I could think off: deep grouping, tool change while selecting, all possible modifier key combos etc. Darn robust software methinks.
