Convert text into a shape, how I get out after using the tool

Hello, I learn to use the tool "convert text into shape" and it was great to stretch text, my problem is that when I want it to go back to normal text function I couldn't anymore, it always appear a funny icon and I couldn't write or use the text tool as normal anymore, my question is , once I have use the tool of convert text into a shape, how I get out of it without destroying the work done?

Hi Augustin - hopefully you've already solved this by now; once you convert to shape, then the shape tools are usually active and you can no longer edit the text in the shape using the text tools.
