Create a circle that consists of 12 rounded lines?

Hello

I'm very new to Pixelmator Pro and I want to create my rasterized logo as vector graphic.

Here's what I've got so far:



But I'm having trouble to re-create the circle. It needs to consist of 12 rounded lines.

Any help is highly appreciated.

The trick seems to be creating the dotted line with proper sizes and gaps. When I got the sizes right I just increased the diameter of the circle till I had 12 lines - had to eyeball the final gap. Your example was an arc, not a circle, but should work for an arc.

Yeah, an arc works. Divided the path, added two anchor points (subtracting two lines worth) then deleted the two endpoints. Then "grew" the arc til it had 12 lines. Interesting exercise.

Hm, the file seems to be empty:

I downloaded it from the above link, again, easily. Where did you get "accessify-ring.pxd" it was untitled.pxd. Don't know, sorry but I also told you how I did it. And you could take the above (and below) images to duplicate it.

Thank you! I seemed to have a weird system-wide problem after updating Keynote: it kept on crashing! I had to completely remove it, restart the computer, and now it works again.
