How do I make my text show up behind my subject? I have tried to simply drag the image layer above the text layer, but when I do the text goes away. Please help and thanks so much!

Hi there, dragging the image layer above the text layer is correct! Just make sure the background of the image layer isn't covering up your text. Here's how you can quickly remove a layer background if needed.

Hello! That’s the thing I need my background. I am playing around with a Kingfisher picture and I can’t get the text to go behind the subject. Any advice?

Are you probably talking about this kind "behind the subject"? https://www.pixelmator.com/tutorials/ho ... n-a-photo/

Yes and no.
No because in Jenn Jager’s video she uses a Kingfisher picture and all she does is moves the image layer above the text layer. However, that method is not working for me. The video is below and what I am referencing starts at 9:30 and goes to about 9:50.

What do you don´t understand with this step-by-step-tutorial? In essence you have to duplicate your image and remove background from the top one. Now add text and put it under the laver with the removed background. Done.
