For your information, I use and have a German Mac keyboard layout. I recommend having a peek on the difference between the German and US Mac keyboard layout. It may help in context.
Here's my Problem
Example: When I go to the Menu Bar into the View section, it says to press ⌘ß to Show Info Bar but when I do that it just ends up zooming out instead of showing the info bar.
I think the issue is that it's somehow clashing with the US Keyboard Layout shortcuts because on the US Keyboard Layout there's a "-" instead of a "ß".
By the way, when I keep the View section drop-down-thingy (on the Menu Bar) open and press ⌘ß it works fine and shows the info bar but without it open it zooms out.
