I saw that you can import, export and edit animated GIFs now. But I don't see the option anywhere to import an image sequence to make a .gif or .mp4? Am I missing something? Also apologies if this in the wrong place, new here - but longtime user and lover

Hi there! There is currently no way to import a video as an image sequence in Pixelmator Pro, and I'm afraid I can't say that we have any plans to add this feature anytime in the near future.

Hello! Since video editing has become a higher priority to the team improved editing support, importing as an image sequence would be greatly helpful. Currently, I can import an image sequence into QuickTime to create a video file for Pixelmator Pro, but by the time I export in Pixelmator, I've compressed the files twice.
That's why importing video would be great, particularly lossless formats like PNG.
