Zoom doesn't seem to work with canvas rotation.

I've been noticing something weird with Pixelmator Pro - when I'm painting e.g rotating and zooming multiple times, the zoom sometimes stops working inexplicably - the zoom on my tablet, the zoom slider, the Zoom tool - none of them work. If I rotate the image a little, they start working again. Anyone know what causes this? Also, when I'm rotating after one of these episodes, the canvas rotate tool 'jumps' on the first rotation. I can post a video if I'm not being very clear here.
