I'm currently using the trial version of Pixelmator Pro and i think it is great. Actually I would prefer it over Affinity Photo if HDR bracketing wasn't still missing. Are there any updates on the plans to finally implement this feature?

Try this AppleScript and let me know if it works for you. I don’t work for Pixelmator. Just a big fan who needed the same thing and got ambitious. See my Etsy listing:
