Gradient Mesh

I would like a gradient mesh coloring tool for Pixelmator shapes. This is a linear 2-D grid color map that can be applied to the shape. The following example has a 6x7 grid with a RGB datapoints at each point. Useful to create a smooth color map over an object.

This is a powerful tool used quite often in other vector applications. Unfortunately not supported by SVG format, and has to be rasterized for SVG export.

yea, it is pretty weird that there is no gradient mesh feature in Pixelmator Pro. With it, you can make some cool effects! Come on, even SwiftUI (apple's framework for building interfaces with their programming language Swift) has mesh gradients already, why not Pixelmator Pro?
