Hi Betty, the easiest way would probably be to use the Pixelmator Pro Photos Extension to make the edits on your MacBook. Your Photos library would automatically update once you finish editing and you'd be able to see the edited photo on your iPhone almost immediately. The same can be done on your iPhone by using Pixelmator Photo - you can read more about it here.
